DescriptionSummary Job Description: Regional accounting and financial system support of all AMIDEAST field offices located throughout the Middle East and North Africa. Responsibilities: — Assist in supporting field offices in all accounting aspects — Support field office accountants with AMIDEASTs financial system (Deltek Costpoint) problem solving — Assist in updates of monthly exchange rates ensuring that internal policies and procedures are being followed — System employee/project number linking after initial project set-up — Follow-up and assistance with monthly bank reconciliations — Assist with customer set-up and maintenance process ensuring standardization and consistency — Validate accuracy of Labor Distribution reports before processing — Assist with FO severance accounting process and entries — Other duties as assigned
Qualifications• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and 2 years in a General Accounting capacity, or equivalent experience • 1 year experience using Deltek’s Costpoint software, preferred, or other sophisticated ERP system. • Extensive experience using MS Excel • Demonstrated analytical skills • A solid understanding of accounting principles • Demonstrated ability to be proactive and resourceful in a team environment This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive, and the employee will also perform other reasonable related business duties.
